Daniel 6:1-28

1.    Have you ever been bullied because you were kind to someone or did good work? Tell your group what happened.

2.    Read or listen to Daniel 6. Review chapter 5 to know how Darius came to be the new management. Compare verses 3-4 with Revelation 14:5. Compare the decree in verses 7-13 with decrees in Daniel 3:8-12 and Revelation 13:15. Review Daniel 4:24-25 and tell each other whose decrees are stronger.

3.    Read or listen to Daniel 6 with 1 Peter 5:8 and Revelation 12. Who is the lion/dragon now? How does he show himself in our lives and society? What did the angel do the lions for Daniel?

4.    Read or listen to Daniel 6. Who slept well? Who didn’t sleep well? How do you think the bullies slept? To whom did both Daniel and the king give credit for a safe night (vs. 20-21)? The narrator also gives credit, or a reason why. What is it (vs. 23)?

5.    Read or listen to Daniel 6:25-28. Read aloud together the words of the proclamation or decree that Darius finally made. Listen to the sound of your voices blending. How effective is a human decree for these things? What will you do today that will go beyond the making of a decree?

1. ¿Alguna vez le han intimidado porque fue amable con alguien o hizo un buen trabajo? Diga a su grupo lo que pasó.

2. Leer o escuchar Daniel 6. Repase el capítulo 5 para saber cómo Darío llegó a ser la nueva administración. Compare los versículos 3-4 con Apocalipsis 14: 5. Compare el decreto en los versículos 7-13 con los decretos en Daniel 3: 8-12 y Apocalipsis 13:15. Repase Daniel 4: 24-25 y contarse unos a otros qué decretos son más fuertes.

3. Leer o escuchar Daniel 6 con 1 Pedro 5: 8 y Apocalipsis 12. ¿Ahora quién es el león / dragón? ¿Cómo se muestra él mismo en nuestras vidas y sociedad? ¿Qué le hizo el ángel a los leones por Daniel?

4. Leer o escuchar Daniel 6. ¿Quién durmió bien? ¿Quién no durmió bien? ¿Cómo cree que durmieron los acosadores? ¿Daniel y el rey, A quién le dieron tanto crédito  por una noche segura (vs. 20-21)? El narrador también da crédito, o una razón del por qué. ¿Qué es (vs. 23)?

5. Leer o escuchar Daniel 6: 25-28. Lea en voz alta las palabras de la proclamación o decreto que Darío dió finalmente. Escuche el sonido de sus voces mezclándose. ¿Qué tan efectivo es un decreto humano para estas cosas? ¿Qué vas a hacer hoy para ir más allá de la elaboración de un decreto?
