"The human side must desist from encroachment into God's domain; it must come to its senses with respect to its limitations; it must talk less and listen more."~Sigve Tonstad. Genesis 1:1-2:4

Before the heat, I worked in my yard this morning. My heart was singing "O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth. When I look at the work of your fingers, this is what I must sing." Psalm 8

God's love for me is patient and kind, bearing, believing, hoping, enduring. God's love for me never ends, never fails. 1 Corinthians 13

In none of the "Trinity Formulas" of the Bible is there any description of just how Jesus is God's Son, in precisely what ways the three are one, or exactly how the Holy Spirit can emanate from both the Father and the Son. Might humans be wise not to explain what the Bible doesn't? Matthew 28:16-20

Thoughts about Listening

Year comes from the relationship of earth and sun. Month comes from the relationship of earth and moon. Day comes from the relationship of earth and sun. What relationship brings us the week? Genesis 1:1-2:4

The earth and the sky want to talk to us. Do we listen to the simple things anymore? Psalm 8

Maybe the anxieties of the day make it difficult not to become insistent, irritable, or resentful. Listening can help. 1 Corinthians 13

If you know someone you believe would stick up for you and stay with you through anything to the end of your life, you are most fortunate. Matthew 28:16-20
