1.    Think about and discuss what it would mean to have only pure truth in what you say or hear, no trolling or entrapment, no “little white lies,” no political lies, no lies to oneself. If you say it can’t be done, try imagining it anyway and describe the feelings aroused by the experience.

3.    Read or listen to Revelation 14:1-5. List and discuss the characteristics (not the identity) of the 144,000. Compare Revelation 7.

4.    Read or listen to Revelation 14:1-5. List the allusions to Israel in this and the chapters cited above. Compare Romans 11. Describe what has happened in the book between Revelation 7 and Revelation 14.

5.    Read or listen to Revelation 14:1-5. Compare Revelation 13. (1) The deceit and lack of it. (2) The people’s voice and lack of it. (3) The mark and the name in the forehead. (4) The numbers 144,000 and 666. Bonus: Compare Revelation 2:20-22 and 12:1-2 to discover the difference between a woman who can “defile” a person and a woman who carries purity.
