They repented and showed that repentance by their actions, and God saw it and repented of the evil that was scheduled for them. Reminds me of 2 Chronicles 7:14 but with different people. Jonah 3:1-10

Whatever happens today and tomorrow, trust in God at all times. To God belongs both power and mercy. Psalm 62:5-12

Paul said the time was short, and that neither sex, nor emotion, nor greed to possess would motivate us in this world because the present world is passing away. I ask myself, How does that fit with how I experience reality almost 2000 years later? 1 Corinthians 7:29-31

Jesus said, the time is now, the kingdom of God is here, so repent and believe the good news. Only in the kingdom of God does repentance coexist with believing good news. Mark 1:14-20

Thoughts about Listening

It's best if attitude matches words. Attitudes show themselves in vocal tones and physical stance. Jonah 3:1-10

If my wealth should increase, I hope I would still be willing to listen. Psalm 62:-12

When I have only a short window of time in which to communicate, it is easy for me to forget to listen. 1 Corinthians 7:29-31
