1.    Describe in your group some of what you see when you try to imagine God or Jesus. How has reading the book of Revelation colored or enhanced your imagination in this?

2.    Read or listen to Revelation 19:11-16. Compare and contrast the previous descriptions of Jesus in Revelation 1:12-16; 5:6.

3.    Read or listen to Revelation 19:11-16. Notice the emphasis on names, and list all the names for Jesus given here. Compare Revelation 3:14; John 1:1,14; Daniel 2:47. Which name for Jesus means the most to you right now?

4.    Read or listen to Revelation 19:11-16. Who else dipped their clothes in blood (Revelation 7:14; 12:11)? Find and contrast three persons/groups dressed in fine linen (Revelation 18:12,16; 19:8,14). Which group would you choose?

5.    Read or listen again to Revelation 19:11-16. Find the sharp sword in Revelation 1:16; 2:12,16; 13:10; 19:15, and also in Ephesians 6:17 and Hebrews 4:12. Do your remember other Bible claims for the joy and goodness of the Bible? Why do you think it is or is not logically sound to believe the Bible’s claims for itself?

Finale: What means the most to you out of today’s reading of Revelation 19:11-16? What will you do about it now?

***************
