1.    Have you ever been in a conversation so lively that, afterward, you couldn’t remember which idea came from whom? Tell.

2.    Read or listen to Daniel 7:15-28. Section this reading according to who is speaking, and notice Daniel’s increasing concern. Discuss which part of the dream concerned Daniel the most and what new information Daniel added to the account in the retelling (vv. 19-22).

3.    Read or listen to Daniel 7:15-28. Sort and evaluate the interpretations given by the “one who stood by” (vv. 17-18; vv. 23-27). Why do you think the explainer would wait for Daniel to ask and describe before going into more in-depth interpretation?

4.    Read or listen to Daniel 7:15-28. Compare Daniel 7:21 with Revelation 12:17 to learn who makes war with the saints. Compare Daniel 7:25 with Revelation 12:17 to learn what happens to God’s laws in each instance. Compare Daniel 7:25 with Revelation 12:14 to notice identical descriptions of time. Consider again what the strong connections between Daniel 7 and Revelation 12-14 might mean.

5.    Read or listen to Daniel 7:15-28. Discuss the difference between who got the kingdom in Daniel’s dream (vv. 13-14) and who gets the kingdom in the explainer’s interpretation (v. 27).  Compare Matthew 28:18-20 for who has received authority to rule and what that means to believers.

Finale: What means the most to you out of today’s reading of Daniel 7:15-28? What will you do about it now?
