Anyone feel betrayed by the person who promised to help you, and trapped in the resulting unhappy circumstances? Consider Jacob and Leah, and God's faithful love. Genesis 29:15-28

I remember when I used to think Jesus' little sayings about the yeast and the pearl were so short and self-evident that I wondered why they were even called parables. Not any more! I am so blessed in God's Word! Matthew 13:31-33, 44-53

Thoughts about Listening

God can help you give the gift of listening to the one who betrayed you, until you can leave. Genesis 29:15-28

I just experienced someone listening attentively to half my backstory. Amazing gift! Psalm 105:1-11

As long as everyone knows that gift listening is not acquiescence or agreement, let us grow in listening to each other. Romans 8:26-39
