1.    Tell and listen to others tell: What games do you play that require some sort of password or permission to move from one level to the next? How does it feel to get that password each time? Alternatively, how did it feel to move from one grade to the next in school? What rituals or “passwords” were required?

2.    Read and scan Revelation 6:1-17; 8:1-6. Scan Revelation 5 to understand the context of “seals” and “Lamb” here.

3.    Read and scan again Revelation 6:1-17; 8:1-6. List what elements are common and yet different in the records of the opening of the first four seals? Discuss. Give the record of the last three the same analysis of comparison, and discuss.

4.    Scan again Revelation 6:1-17; 8:1-6. Include a scan of Revelation 7 and ponder any connection of this interlude to the seven seals that surround it.

5.    Scan again 6:1-17; 8:1-6. In each section there is a first sight and an additional saying or sight. See if these next or additional things might picture something to do at the various stages of a project or a business or church start-up.
