1. Pick your favorite joke that turns on mystery, pun, or puzzle, (only one, for now). Tell yours and listen to others tell theirs.
2. Read or listen to Revelation 17:1-7. Who is the mystery that John is promised to see in this reading? Compare Revelation 21:9-10 and discover whom John is told he will see in that reading. It will be interesting to notice comparisons and interactions between the Bride, the Lamb, and Babylon.
3. Read or listen to Revelation 17:1-3. Create a picture in your mind of this woman. Discover two different things this reading says she sits on. Put those two different things in your picture. Compare Revelation 12:3,9; and 13:1-2 with Revelation 17:1-3. List the similarities and differences between these animals.
4. Read or listen to Revelation 17:2-6. Compare Revelation 14:1 to discover who else has a name written in their foreheads. Read Revelation 6:9-10; 12:17; 16:6 and tell whose blood is in the cup she holds. What other illegal relationships does she have? What is blasphemy, according to Mark 2:5-7; 14:61-64?
5. Read or listen to Revelation 17:7. Use your imagination to think about what to expect in the remainder of this chapter. Talk together about what other mysteries or puzzles you would like to know about these things.

4. Leer o escuchar Apocalipsis 17:2-6. Comparar Apocalipsis 14:1 para descubrir quiénes otros tienen un nombre escrito en sus frentes. Lea Apocalipsis 6:9-10; 12:17; 16:6 y diga de quién es la sangre en la copa que ella sostiene. ¿Qué otras relaciones ilegales tiene ella? Según Marcos 2:5-7; 14:61-64, ¿Qué es blasfemia?
