1.    Have you ever been robbed, or had someone break into your place or things? Tell about it and listen to others tell.

2.    Read or listen to Revelation 16:15. Compare Revelation 3:11 and John 14:1-3, two other promises of Jesus’ return. Notice in the contexts, what is or should be the reaction of people. Compare Revelation 1:7 and Matthew 24:27 to discover and discuss what Jesus’ coming will be like.

3.    Read or listen to Revelation 16:15. Compare Revelation 3:3 and Matthew 24:42-44 to understand the reference to a thief. In what ways is Jesus’ coming like and unlike the coming of a thief? Consider also John 10:1-10 for contrast in intent between Jesus and a thief.

4.    Read or listen to Revelation 16:15. Jesus said, keep your clothes, hang onto what you have (Revelation 3:11). Research these garments in other parts of Revelation, color, material,  how washed, and what they represent (Revelation 3:4-5, 15-18; 6:11; 7:13-14; 19:7-8). Discuss.

5.    Read or listen to Revelation 16:15. What other characteristics go with nakedness in Revelation 3:15-18? Will people buy clothes if they don’t think they need them? Will people hang onto their clothes if they don’t think they need them? How can we come to an awareness of our nakedness apart from Jesus?
