Whatever we choose in place of God, to that we become slaves. 1 Samuel 8:4-20

Reasons to praise God: For your steadfast love and faithfulness, you answered me, you regard the low, you preserve and deliver me, you will fulfill your purpose for me, you will not forsake the work of your hands. Psalm 138

There is no comparison between a present lifetime and eternity. Then add to that eternity a heaviness of glory, and make it beyond all measure. The choice is logical regardless of suffering added in here. 2 Corinthians 4:13-5:1

If Satan works against himself, then Satan will fall, said Jesus. Satan incites cruelty and war in those he has, which kills so many that then he has fewer. But God has final say in everything, in every life. Mark 3:20-35

Thoughts about Listening

In times of great disappointment, it is good to choose your listener well. 1 Samuel 8:4-20
