God's covenant with Abraham, developed in Genesis 12, 13, 15, and 17: Did it require a promise or action on Abraham's part? Worth pondering, I think. Genesis 17:1-7, 15-16

Psalm 22, connected with David somehow, gives a running account of what could have been going through Jesus' mind as the things mentioned happened right before his eyes. I hope he was able to bring the last part of the chapter along in his mind as well. It is magnificent. Psalm 22:23-31

I read Paul's account of Abraham's trusting God for a child and it seems like one day of trusting and God counted it righteousness. However, I notice that it was through years and days and hours of anguish and anxiety that this trusting God had to continue. Romans 4:13-25

Jesus said Peter didn't taste and like the things of God, but the things of humans. I think I need a taste buds change. Mark 8:31-39

When someone is crying in grief or pain, perhaps the best thing I can do for them is to not turn away, to stay and listen. Psalm 22:23-31

Belief while listening is a gift that you may give. Romans 4:13-25

If I suddenly understand something I didn't understand before, it's not necessarily the fault of the teller. It might simply be that I have more experience now. Mark 8:31-39
