I believe there is one God who is the Creator of everything. The stars and the viruses he calls by name and they obey his command. Isaiah 40:21-31
The Lord heals the brokenhearted. The Lord lifts up the meek. The Lord takes pleasure in those who hope in his mercy. Let our intercessions accord with God's already plans. Psalm 147:1-11
Woe is me if I do not preach the gospel. I wonder how many are living under the sense of woe, having felt the call to preach the gospel but having been shut down in some way. 1 Corinthians 9:16-23

Thoughts about Listening
Listening well sometimes requires waiting on the other person. Isaiah 40:21-31
Even a listener who cannot understand is better than no listener; people talk to their pets. Think how much better if someone who can understand is also a good listener! Psalm 147:1-11
It's not a denial of my own self to try to understand the other person's position. In Christ, I'm bigger than that. 1 Corinthians 9:16-23
Move on to new creativity even while the old is still popular. Mark 1:29-39
