Check out some fabulous promises for the bringing back of scattered Israel. I'm thinking we're scattered by masks and distance and might find some hope and comfort here. God understands. Jeremiah 31:7-14

I think one could not immerse in the beautiful words of the Psalmist without coming to attribute to God the controlling power over our environment. Psalm 147:12-20

Before the creation of the world, God chose and destined us to be adopted, gathered in one, and heirs, in order that we might live to God's praise and glory. Every piece of this statement thrills me. Ephesians 1:3-14

The world, and people called "his own," did not receive him. But those who receive him, or acknowledge him, receive special rights of adoption, the privilege to become offspring of God! John 1:10-18

Thoughts about Listening

I once knew a man whose simple goodness (listening, kindness, and fairness) made me feel radiant whenever around him. Jeremiah 31:7-14

For a nation to have legal basis, in laws, statutes, ordinances, etc., has historically been considered an advanced and stabilizing thing. Psalm 147:12-20

Being quiet to listen lets me into the mystery of relationship, and grows my wisdom and insight. Ephesians 1:3-24

When I long to feel included, but find no connections in that group, it's sad, but I can find other connections. John 1:10-18
