Why is a day of vengeance of our God a day of comfort, healing, and good news? Because no longer must we plan any revenge. Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11

There would be no laughter, singing, rejoicing, or productive creativity without the great things the Lord has done for us. Like coming to be with us. Psalm 126

Three things to do always in all circumstances without interruption: Rejoice, Pray, Give Thanks. This gives our God of peace the opportunity to to sanctify and keep us in every way. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24

When quizzed about why he did things, John claimed no high authority. "I'm just a voice" he said, "but look out for the one coming after me!" And that One still impacts the whole world! John 1:6-8, 19-28

Thoughts about Listening

I want to remember all day to wear my smile even if it's hidden behind a mask. Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11

I want others to know me as a happy person, uplifting others by my cheerful listening. Psalm 126

It's quite an experiment to decide to do just one day with joy and gratitude no matter what. There are benefits to this choice and it is not impossible. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24

Everyone wants someone safe to whom to confess authentically who you are. Listeners are needed. John 1:6-8, 19-28
