Deliverance instructions: "Do not be afraid, stand firm, and [watch]. . . The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to keep still." Exodus 14:19-31

Here's the picture I get from this reading: When God said, "Make way for Israel," the sea ran away, the river turned back, and the mountains skipped like rams out of the way. God made a way through wilderness and water. Psalm 114

Regarding food and days: Do not quarrel. Do not judge or despise one another. Let your own mind guide you. Give thanks to the Lord. Look forward to each of us being judged by God. Romans 14:1-12

Without God's forgiveness, I am in a very desperate situation, and since I have God's forgiveness, I have motivation and ability to forgive others. Matthew 18:21-35

Thoughts about Listening

Sometimes it takes a strong decision just to stay still to hear the other person. Exodus 14:19-31

Good to teach our children to just go outdoors, be present, and listen in nature. Psalm 114

There are some things that don't need to be argued about. Romans 14:1-12

I suppose there's a certain amount of forgiveness needed in order to listen well to others. Matthew 18:21-35
