Love, obey, and keep close the Lord your God. This means life for you. Deuteronomy 30:15-20

Psalm 119:1-8 would lead the reader to believe that the law is glorious and whoever keeps the law pleases God and is blessed, but there is also the recurring plaintive voice of the human who knows he or she has not kept the law. This is my Psalm.

We don't get to align and announce ourselves for divisions in the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:1-9

They could find loopholes even in God's law whereby they could keep their favorite sin while looking good. Jesus closed the loopholes. "You won't even be looking for loopholes," he said. Matthew 5:21-37

I believe it is a universal human experience that we fall short of our highest ideals. Some say, Well, if it happens to everyone, it doesn't matter. But since it happens to each of us in different ways, we tend to blame each other unless we get wise to it. Psalm 119:1-8
