Shepherds have not shepherded, so God will bring shepherds who will shepherd. Jesus will come. Jeremiah 23:1-6

It is the tender mercy of God that sends God's Son as dawn from above. It is most astonishing since even the slightest unkindness anywhere greatly disturbs God, yet he came. Luke 1:69-78

Jesus is the image of the un-image-able, un-see-able God. That right there is awesome and generous enough to ponder for awhile! Colossians 1:11-20

They mocked him, using the title King of the Jews as derision. But he WAS King of the Jews. I ponder, do I make him my king or do I mock and deride him. Luke 23:33-43

Thoughts about Listening

To shepherd well, a shepherd will listen to his or her sheep. Good example for any leader, I think. Jeremiah 23:1-6

Take the time and give the kindness to listen to each other, the only way to peace. Luke 1:69-78

Someone has helped you "see" what you couldn't comprehend before that help. Thank that person. Colossians 1:11-20

Unkind words are more common in a person or place where listening is not a priority. Luke 23:33-43
