My simplest prayer for you this Thanksgiving is that you will find today some extra time and incentive to read the Bible. Ephesians 1:15-23

So quickly we move from "This is for us," or "This is for you," to "This is for me"! Matthew 25:31-46
Bible Reading Group Homework
1. You will not leave your pets in danger or need. Tell about how you care for pets.
2. Read or listen to Ezekiel 34:11-16. List and describe the things the Shepherd does for the flock.
3. Read or listen to Psalm 100. God is our Shepherd, we are his sheep. Tell and discuss what this Psalm means to you.
4. Read or listen to Ephesians 1:15-23. Pray this prayer together for one another, and for others for whom you care. Tell about how your wisdom and love have grown in knowing God.
5. Read or listen to Matthew 25:31-46. First, look at the three parables of Matthew 25, and discover what is the fulcrum in each story upon which the destiny of the person depends. Discuss possible relationships between the stories. Second, read the last story again noting the specific things Jesus wants us to do for others. Describe how this would affect our characters. Third, ponder and discuss what Jesus did for our world as in John 3:16 and Philippians 2:5-11 and in terms of this third parable of Matthew 25. Our character is not only to be an imitation of Christ but first must be a transformation by Christ.
