Oh the joy of hearing some kind of words that show the other person understands what you've been trying to say! Matthew 16:13-20

Bible Reading Group Homework

1.    Describe for your group one motto or slogan that you have chosen and used, and tell how it helps you.

2.    Read or listen to Exodus 1:8-2:10. Find the Nile River on a map. Research online about the pharoahs, culture, and religion of ancient Egypt. Then prepare to tell the story for some children, the story of Moses’ birth.

3.    Read or listen to Psalm 124. How could this psalm remind the singers of the birth of Moses? Imagine, and draw a picture of, worshiping with this psalm.

4.    Read or listen to Romans 12:1-8. Describe and distinguish the two different bodies Paul mentions in this reading. How are they similar; how are they different? What could you do today to create better physical health and better spiritual health?

5.    Read or listen to Matthew 16:13-20. Compare and contrast other confessions about Jesus (Matthew 14:33; Mark 8:29; John 11:27; John 20:28; Acts 8:37). What is the statement you have made to Jesus about who He is? Compare the statements in your group and recognize that the exact words sometimes vary. So what is important to you in confessing Jesus?

Compare las proclamaciones  de su grupo y reconozca que, las palabras exactas a veces varían.  Entonces, ¿Para usted, qué es lo importante al admitir a Jesús?
